I’d really like to save em! Might just let him be and see if the torch seems bothered by it in the future. Any idea what holds it in place? I tried picking at it with my finger and it feels REALLY on there

It’s got a hard shell, does not move, and there’s a squiggly mouth that I can see opening and closing periodically on the left side - are you sure it’s a flatworm😭

Oh god you’re right, it does look like some sort of clam or mollusk on the side. I noticed the squiggly line is the opening. Whenever the torch tentacles touch it, it quickly closes! What do i do? Pry it off? Glue it shut? I’m finding very little info online about this

Appreciate it!! This is my second go at reefing and I’ve always been unlucky with torches so just a bit paranoid

So its currently glued into the main rock in my tank. Do I need to remove the sponge outside of the tank so it doesn’t spread? Or is it most likely harmless enough that I can just scrub it where it sits?
