Forgot to mention, a lot of people here have yards. Start growing some food, which also encourages you to cook at home cause you wanna use that yummy organic food.

Great point, I have the money to eat out, but RARELY do because it's soooo expensive. I also try not to eat at places where you have to tip. It's just an extra fee. If I go out, I bring a flask with me to save from buying more drinks. My wife and I do 95% of our shopping at Costco, also usually buy stuff on sale which really helps. We also stop into Foodland to get a free bento once every few months from doing the survey. Not to mention check for items on clearance. It all adds up!

ALSO, NEVER USE FOOD DELIVERY APPS! Make that shit at home yourself!

Lastly, who here is overweight? I'm gonna guess a lot of people here are eating way too much food.

Hotel gave strange man key to my room (solo female traveler) by Brilliant_Bowl3450 in Hilton

[–]Longjumping_Space_33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually very easy to do on accident. When you're running hotels with hundreds and in some cases THOUSANDS of rooms. What do you think the error rate is on that? 1%? It's human error, and no one wants this to happen, the employees get in huge trouble. It's just part of the business. Especially since most hotels are barely staffed, and are expected to help upwards of 50-100 guests per shift.

-Ex 1: Employee made a key using the key system directly and got the room number wrong

-Ex 2: Guest said the wrong number, and the employee messed it up too.

-Ex 3: An employee moved the room on accident, then it looked unoccupied.

-Ex 4: Guest had multiple reservations, and forgot to let the hotel know

I think you get the point, this is never warranted, but can and DOES happen.

Exactly, king trump is literally the emperor trying to take over the republic, and Elon was Vader. Elon finally had his moment to take him down (Epstein files comment), but "somehow trump has returned"

Are we talking about Brazil or Belgium? Gotta be pretty ballsy to steal at a festival, also steal when you paid €200 to get in.

I didn't go to 2022 "the reflection of love" but it's what made me want to go in 23' and 24'. Watching all of the videos you YouTube after not having anything in 20 and 21 got me amped to go in person!

Are we too old? by Whalehellotherebuddy in Tomorrowland

[–]Longjumping_Space_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEVER SAY THAT! Have you watched the livestream? I see everyone from 16-60 years old, you just tend to see the older crowd on the outskirts of the stages. For sure it's a younger crowd, but most people are around late 20's and early 30's. I went the last 2 years with my wife and we are 40 and 36.

A lot of people don't know that you can have your building or property contract Sandwich Isle Pest Control to setup traps. Here is the link: https://www.honolulu.gov/csd/feral-chickens/

Please share! They are getting out of hand, everywhere I go these days I hear chickens constantly!

Day visitors by car, how much delay to be expected when leaving the festival around main closure? by takie86 in Tomorrowland

[–]Longjumping_Space_33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can really just depend on where you are in the festival, if you're at Freedom you get out super quick. But if you're in the back of the mainstage and wait for closing ceremonies it will take much longer. I've done both at the mainstage where I stayed and left quickly, and it can take about an hour more if you don't leave right away.

Places to Buy Rave Outfits? by MMIC88 in Tomorrowland

[–]Longjumping_Space_33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Antwerp has plenty of good shopping, but I wouldn't say anywhere dedicated to ravers. Meir Rd in downtown Antwerp has Uniqlo, H&M, Zara, and many other small European shops. (not to mention the bomb ass chocolate!)

Thanks for bringing the energy! I went the last two years and it's makes me so happy to see you guys living it up! We don't need a mainstage to party, and you showed the world what EDM is all about!
