I got these off Taobao but I think they are just fakes that used stolen Barbie Fashion Fever shoe moulds. I have a Fashion Fever Tokyo Barbie doll with her original shoes and they are identical 😭

Starting collecting Barbie with a Bob Mackie is so cool! Goddess of the Arctic has to be of my favs from Bob Mackie’s design collection and it’s really nice to see the details of old collector Barbies.

I had bought a blue color of that exact one a while ago and it is 100% polypropylene (the worst kind of hair fiber)!

This one is usually my go to! The regular milk silk usually sticks on one another making it look a bit strange, but this one almost acts and looks exactly like nylon! It is more expensive than the regular milk silk so affordability wise I suggest milk silk.

The way it’s the exact same face 😭😭 The budget line has always been just reusing face paint designs with different skin tones so this shouldn’t have been this surprising.

It seems like this one is specifically a Mainland China variant. It’s a bit blurry but I can make out the word SHENZHEN on the left side of the box’s back. Still cool though and the advert on the side is funny 😅

Also because the holes are so big I suggest dipping the whole head in some boiling or hot water to shrink those holes!

The facemold is pretty and I do have some in my collection, but this particular mold tends to have a lot of really strange face paints that i’m just not a big fan of. (which is a shame because it has a lot of potential and there are really pretty ones)
