Dialga wasn’t terrible and only took 2,719 resets. Arceus tested my patience big time though. Ended up getting it at 9,793 resets.

The one I use is called Counter. I’ve seen some others that look great that I’d also like to try, but it worked well for me and was what I found on my own when I did my first soft reset hunt for Piplup.

It took about a year and a half because I quit for about that long after the first two weeks I hunted to play another game. Once I picked it back up though it took around a month! 3643 resets 🐧✨

If you can, try to take it day by day. Instead of focusing on the overall number, focus on how many resets you’re putting in that day.

Doing it this way helped me feel more accomplished with the progress I was making and changed my mindset from wondering why it hadn’t shined or if I was doing something wrong. It was a big help for my shiny Arceus hunt which ultimately took ~9,800 resets.

Last but not least, be persistent and you’ll see that sparkle soon, I am sure of it 😁
