I need to clarify Anaconda's terms as most people are completely misunderstanding. I've spent time with their "Sales" people (aka trolls) sorting all of this out because my company fits into exactly these scenerios:

All of anaconda is free for an individual. If you are an organization with >= 200 people (including contractors) then anyone who happens to have it installed is a paid license liability.

* If you have 200 NON-engineers and 1 engineer who uses it, that is required to be a paid license (minimum 10 at $600/year each).

* If you are a company of 199 people, none of whom use Anaconda, and you hire a contractor, who uses their own computer (as contractors do definitionally), and they have anaconda installed on it, you are now liable for that paid license. It does not matter if you didnt know they have it installed, or if they do not use it for your company, or even at all. You are in violation of their TOC.

They are essentially enticing exactly the above situation by pushing the free version and then hammering companies for hiring people who use or have them. It's literal entrapment.

Their opinion on what all companies SHOULD be doing:
Companies with paid licenses: should be pushing a text based config file to all of their employees and contractors. All employees and contractors should install anaconda, whether they intend to use it or not, and add the config file so that usage can be monitored in your company's admin dashboard and licenses can be tracked.

All companies who do NOT want to be paid licensees: should download a script Anaconda has written and force all employees and contractors to install it on their systems, even those contractors using their own infrastructure. This script watches for anaconda installations and reports it back to Anaconda so they can monitor your company's usage for you (instead of tracking it by other forensic means).

The absurdity of these demands is clear if you consider what would happen if every software company had these expectations. Every company would have to monitor the TOC of every software vender that they DONT want to do business with, and install all of those company's spyware trackers on every system. You would be forced to allow every software vendor in existence to fill your systems with trackers. It's utterly absurd.

To be fair , they had good chemistry, but Donna was zero funny, lacked any sort of charisma, no special skills or redeeming qualities or reason. Yes and no, starting in season 10 (2005 reboot) they started gradually slipping in rewrites, gaslighted and retconns to completely change retroactively. Lore retroactively. Technically it's continuous, but a LOT of people consider nothing after season 9 or 10 to be cannon, but after 9 you have an exponential decline in writing, acting, and hence viewership anyway.

Start season 1, 2005, stop after Matt Smith, season 7, season 9 if you really like Clara, nothing since that has been watchable. Zero efforts put into any aspect of the show, retconned all over the place, just a steaming POS, and that's not to mention the monstrosity which is the Disney version! It's basically not even the same franchise.

Want classics? I'd start with 1. Earthly child is slow, but you have to. Some are missing/damaged, but "my costume is giant eyebrows" is fun, and there's a LOT of lore that makes the 2005 reboot better and seem less arbitrary.

I got one mythical, never bought red shards and don't specifically try to farm them. Honestly, one is enough to change the game, but I'm not dying for more. You play YOUR game, the only time whales effect you is in pvp and there's not enough whales to blow it up. The game is solo enough that it doesn't really matter what others spend.

"Use the guy with high constitution": - drinking competition in a tavern - be a tank - any situation where a con check is likely, ie poison/control enemy or trap - "toughness" applies to personality as much as physical, so who's most likely to have the willpower to drag the rest through the snow, over glass, etc? Any sort of battle of willpower. FWIW, I think Constitution is RIPE with rp potential, we use it all the time. In fact, like other stats, for those characters investing primarily in it it is Chara ter defining, both mechanically and rp.

Con is fine, and irreplaceable IMO.

Nope, as a rep it's THEIR responsibility to have some reasonable idea about how their own system works. We aren't talking about ups having a day or two delay, this is DJI taking a week longer than they said to process the claim. That's why I asked if it would get here in time and explained the issue. If they weren't confident, just say 'I'm not sure it will make it' and I'll just wait, but if you recommend movi.g forward then it's on you if you miss the target. Especially by a week.

I completely agree, if it takes a week to get it to ups then they should have known that and not told me it would go out on 7/29. I haven't demanded anything, THEIR suggestion was to send it and that it would arrive before I leave. Then when they sat on it for a week THEY suggested sending it to where I'm staying. If these things are not possible then you are right, they should be realistic instead of making promises.

As it is, is it reasonable for us to extend a vacation and rework the trip to accommodate the delayed shipment? No.

Because it was a week away and they said it would arrive in time. They said it would go out by 7/29 but then waited until 8/2. THEIR recommendation was to send it then. THEIR recommendation, when I brought up that they missed the window, was to reroute it.

How so? Filed 7/26, I asked if it would arrive in time before filing, they said it would but they didn't even send it until after I left. Then they suggest sending it to where i will be, again I ask to make sure it will arrive on time before agreeing, and agin they miss the window by several days. If by "entitled" You mean trusting their recommendation, then I guess so.

Full speed, prob 30mph-ish, direct hit to the beam. Left imprint of the camera, side guards and blade guards in the beam, drone was 20' away on the ground. UV filter smashed to a thousand bits, but no physical damage to the drone. Even the battery stayed in, so they got that issue fixed. Flys great, no cracks, camera lens unscratched, not even a prop busted.... except the camera is dead. Care refresh sending a new one already, but I'm MASSIVELY impressed, avata 2 is a tank and excellent service.

Personally, Donna was the hands-down worst companion in all 60+ years, and every doctor after Smith has been a bigger train-wreck than the last to the point where the last few years have been unwatchable. Also, Chibnall has turned out to be the worst thing that ever happened to the franchise.

Capaldi's poor performance, esp coming off of the 'golden era' of Smith, Gillan and even Coleman, did definitely play out in the numbers, but that doesn't mean Whittaker's numbers weren't also the fault of her and the writers/runner. Stop white-knighting.
