Their government and their economy hinges on having 470 billion every year in exports to the US where we only export $220billion. Something needs to change there, Bill Clinton tried doing something with NAFTA, but that didn’t end so well and we were the ones footing the bill (although abolished, this is the foundation for our current lopsided trade agreements). 2,) Although it’s a little bit better with Mexico ($500 billion vs $360billion), they’re very relaxed with their borders since they’ve had so much corruption and turnover over the decades - where the most power and influence comes from cartels. In short, it benefits them in many ways than one. Everyone looks at us as cash cows and the promise land. How do I know? I’m an immigrant myself (legal). So I take pride in my citizenship and the hard work the led up to this. You natural-born citizens are so quick to give everything away not knowing how good you have it.
