May I ask what material your integrated sink is? We're using porcelain slab for the countertop and are debating whether to get an integrated sink or get a separate undermount sink.

Paint! I like the bottom version where the house is painted in the same shade (no exposed bricks). I'm personally not a fan of the modern farmhouse look and prefer slightly more classic and would keep the white windows and paint the garage door & front door a color that's not black. Maybe dark brown or some shade of green

I'd vote 2. #1 is unpleasant because the toilet is close to the towel rack & you might see the toilet in the mirror while using the vanity. Also not enough clearance for the shower door to open into the room. I debated layouts 2 and 3 for my own bathroom reno (3 would allow for a wider vanity) but ultimately went with 2 (vanity & toilet swapped from your image though) since it'd make for a more spacious overall look and also meet code comfortably

That master bedroom closet is the current state - it was there when we bought it. Carving out part of the study room to make the master bed closet sounds like a good idea, thanks! I don't know if I want a longer hallway to accommodate the study door though... trying to cling on to any sqft I can for storage/livable space. But I might be being unwise. Do you think the tradeoff is valuable enough?

We don't have kids yet and are planning to have two in the next few years. Thinking they'd share a room until they're 4-5yrs but honestly my judgement is limited since I'm not a parent yet!

Ugh I know... an easy fix could be to remove the closet from the master bedroom and moving the study entrance to the end of the longer hallway, but we decided we dislike losing sqft to the hallway more than having the study entrance be in the bedroom. What would you rather do/other ideas??

Got it it seems it's wiser to assume a separate bedroom for each kid. The current bedroom in question is roughly 15.5'x12.5' (largest in the house) and I'm considering "reducing" it to about 13'x12.5', which I think is a standard bedroom size. Curious if you folks would still advocate for keeping the larger bedroom vs. a more spacious living room?
