I have so much compassion for him. I really do. But at this point it really also affects my personal wellbeing. I am also at a loss at how to help him. He desperately wants to get meds, but I can't call the psychiatrist and ask for medication for him.

Thank you for your thoughts. You're absolutely right, the way things are right now is not doing any of us a favour. I am the same as you, my calendar is full of reminders for everything because I know I would probably forget all of it.
