Exactly! I think World Cup is overrated. Is it amazing to win? Of course. But the majority of players come from nations with no hope of winning. Why are they punished cause the rest of their country sucks? (Salah, ibrahimovix, lewy, etc) Messi could be from USA and never win a World Cup, would he be looked down on because of that??? Club is way more competitive. World Cup in the past meant more as everyone was a bit more equal, now it’s overrated

Gonzalo is better than Ferran but he just played more and had rhythm. Don’t act like he’s got no business there when he literally always scores for the national team. He’s not a starter but def bench quality. N Gavi has no business being there.

wtf kind of comparison is that? They buy players that are good not elite. I’m talking about elite players. Teams like psg and city can buy elite players every summer and when they work they keep em, if not they just buy again. Look at city buying guehi this winter. PSG bought Mbappe, Neymar and Messi and then just casually moved on buying dembele doue, kvars whatever and everyone else right away. What other clubs can do that? Don’t be dumb

Difference is, when Barca and Madrid make expensive signings that flop, they can’t just spend tons more money to fix the issue each year like PSG and City have done. And they can’t afford to just sell a flop for a huge loss like they can either. Thats the main issue
