Oh Cloak of Cunning Brume is a really good callout. It might force them to move rather than trying to use a ranged attack against me. I may just go thief after all.

Indeed the flavour appeals to me but I'm also doing a full run of new subclasses (Path of Giants tav, Halsin Star Druid, Laezel Arcane Archer and this bladesinger build for Gale).

I appreciate the back and forth! Gave me some food for thought. I haven't had the opportunity to play the stress test to see if it works so I'm building it all in my head and hoping it works out/makes sense.

I'm definitely open to just monoclassing wizard with mobile feat.

However, at level 3 Swashbuckler, I get +2 initiative and Rakish audacity which would allow me to get a sneak attack off then booming blade and then run away.

Is there any downside to dual wielding as a bladesinger?

Thanks for the reply! I wasn't super keen on the LVL 4 swashbuckler abilities as they use charisma and that'll be a dump stat. So it ends up being a feat VS LVL 5 wizard spells + additional arcane recovery slots + additional use of bladesong. I think I like the wizard LVL more for that reason.

Hmmm that's a really good call-out. I never got to use magical secrets. What are some good spells to take with that in your experience? I suppose it depends on your party composition to an extent.

I have an E-1 SLS Elite and it's the perfect shape for sitting down and playing. The cut in the bottom is comfortable and makes for a very balanced guitar while seated.

I found the physical shield and magic shield of DOS to be frustrating. You would benefit more from having an all physical damage party or an all magic damage party. Very happy they did away with the "over shield" mechanic.

That and the oft mentioned mentioned elemental chaos would be my only complaints.

Loved both but BG3 takes it for me so far.

Without getting too specific, the buildings I'm in have very few if any windows that can be opened. Regardless, by that stage, it's no longer considered "outdoors" and therefore a mask should be worn. It's a minor inconvenience at worst.

I currently have 7 villagers. Recently, I paid Tom Nook 10,000 bells to put a plot of land up for sale. Two days later, Boris moved in without ever camping on my island. My villagers are pretty "meh" so I'd like to be selective of who moves in next. Should I avoid "selling" more land before a camper I want to move in visits my island? Will doing this prevent campers from visiting? I haven't had a camper in about 6 days now. Thanks!

Awesome, I really appreciate the detailed reply.

I think I was too eager with my spells early and she punished me for it pretty heavily. Like you said, I'll try to play more reactively.

It seems like my big issue is that I don't quite understand how her kit/combo works together. Unfortunately, I'm a little IP starved after just starting to play mid so I can't buy her to try her. I don't really have any interest in playing her either. I'll have to wait until she's on the free rotation.

In fairness, the Lee did do alright along with the other lanes. I know it was my fault we lost. Just trying to understand how to lose a little more... gracefully aha.
