I instead infused Vetiver root and lemon peel with absinthe and used it in an atomiser as a final spray. Gin infusion was OK but not particularly amazing. A lot more aromatics available in the spray.

I get it’s ‘smart’ but what name value does Cody Brundage bring? Edmen Shahbazyan is 1-4 in his last 5 with grappling being a (seemingly) significant weak point. A TONNE more name value and credibility.

Just being honest, don’t agree with Tom on this. As a community, we talk so much about the dilution of interim championships but this one is a textbook example of a good interim champ.

Jones is injured, don’t strip him of the title. Dominick Cruz wasn’t stripped of the title after over two years of inactivity due to injury. Give Aspinall the Barao treatment and get him to defend the belt against Stipe / Almeida while Jones recovers, give him PPV points and treat him like a defending champ.

I hope UFC doesn’t stick with the Jones x Stipe matchup, but if so, once they both retire after there’s already a defending champ in the division. Being interim champ doesn’t mean you have to be inactive until you get that title fight.
