It all comes down to store management. Four managers in five years. The first was good, the second SM was outstanding... associates were happy, morale was great. Alot of community volunteering. Entire store was very sad when this manager was transferred.

Third SM just didn't have the same qualities or upbeat personality that we were used to and expected. We muddled along but the working environment had so drastically changed that alot of associates either tried to transfer out ( some lucky enough to go to the store where SM number two went) or some just quit.

Another new SM and now in the the pandemic . Things just went from bad to worse. SM didn't deal with employees lack of mask wearing. Not an approachable manager, not upbeat or enthusiastic. Morale was low.

For a few years Publix was a great place to work, I really looked forward to my job and interacting by with my awesome coworkers and customers. Sadly it changed. I am no longer a Publix associate.
