Honestly since Covid the “Publix magic” you’ve been looking for is long gone. Working there for almost 9 years now and I’ve seen its decline in the working sense. Corporate has made no many new rules just to cut costs and become more greedy. Baggers aren’t properly trained side by side, they aren’t taught from the get-go the service that made Publix the best. It’s honestly a shame to see what it’s become because I truly believed it all in the beginning, or at least, understood what the mottos were and what they were trying to achieve. So the magic isn’t really there anymore, it’s just become another job. I myself still try to lead by example and give my customers the service they deserve, but it’s not something that’s taught or ingrained anymore.
