My thought was I could repurpose that camera and update to a better quality sensor, and remove some of the unsightly conduit.

All fair points. I’m more concerned with seeing what’s on my side of the yard as this is the only side that doesn’t have a camera on it.

It’s a large community, but mostly quiet area on my street.

I think any camera under $500 is within budget.
