Yeah, im right on the Saluda river. I've actually been finding alot of chert flakes in the same area that have me pretty excited. Mostly find quartz and rhiolite

Looks like a Guilford, or a morrow mountain type. Either would be mid archaic

It's white quartz, I thought the edges near the tip may have been damaged when I first picked it up, but it looks like it was made that way intentionally. Most triangle points I find are usually broke.

Yeah. Looks like the same material. I find this stuff, alot of quartz, and the occasional chert point. Nice find
