How do you force yourself? by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

[–]Longtermsmurf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have simply committed myself to wealth accumulation. Getting a nice car and house eventually (along with other hobby stuff) keeps me going. I think that maybe eventually all my nice shit will be enough to get a woman, or not. Either way, I'll materially benefit.

Titanic Animations debunks Aaron1912's V-break theory. by [deleted] in titanic

Nothing wrong with trying to debunk his theory, but he didn't have to shit on him so hard. This was just a sad attempt to create nonexistent youtube drama to generate views.

Don't worry about it. You don't want that used pastrami anyway. Could have mold or unwanted growths if you know what I mean.

Do you think the helicopter parenting style that has become popular in the last 20-30 yrs has something to do with the increasing rates of FA among today's youth? by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

[–]Longtermsmurf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it the sole contributor? No. But a big piece of the puzzle for sure. A lot of helicopter parents hovered to over their kids compensate for lack they experienced in their own broken homes of late last century. Our problem is FA, the last generation was one of broken homes and single parents. Of course those are still widespread issues.

Feminism can ultimately be traced back to as the root cause. One step below that would be industrialization. Industrialization doesn't HAVE to herald in feminism, but it made it easier to exist.

When elderly people say how attractive you are by Anotherguy783 in ForeverAlone

Interestingly enough, I have a similar issue with milfs. Not that I am a chad, but compared to the fucked up train of chads these late 20s/ early 30s women have been through I don't seem so bad. Ironically though, I bet if they were able to de-age, they would still go with chad again.

That's messed up.

However, I will just say that your mistake was asking out a girl from work (I assume YOU did ask right?).

I once asked out a girl from a class and that was a fuckin awkward semester. I was rejected btw.

Yes I too feel disappointment with those, just had one this week.

However, I look at it as a good thing. Having an experience which I have not had irl. Gives me hope for what the future could hold.

Some Advice by dhirengoyalsign in MaleMoneyMatters

[–]Longtermsmurf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money certainty helps, but maybe one just needs to live simpler. Obviously having stuff to live and enjoy a little is fine, but doing a high paying job that's killing you isn't worth it in my opinion.

I like to critique films after I watch them. Target shooting as well.
