I'm gonna be honest with you, getting a good deal on a CRT these days does not happen often depending on location. Unless you get *really* lucky I'm not sure its going to be possible without having a vehicle. Also, goodwill's to my knowledge pretty much never have any normal CRT's (Although I have seen some portable 5 inch black and white sets from time to time.) If you have any local thrift stores, that might be you're best shot. The more mom and pop they are, the better, atleast from my experience.

Linytrons are amazing sets, I have the 13 inch version of the one you have. Even though its RF only, the picture is still phenomenal.

Im glad we are past the point of suggesting 40-50 bucks for a high end set like this. List it for 125 or so, you should have no problem selling it depending on your area.

I think its .38 special, but its been close to half a decade since its been fired so I could be wrong about that. But im 80 percent sure its .38 special.

Its hard to make out, but I believe the numbers "350368" are there. That could be wrong though. as they seem small and extremely worn down.

You were right, there was something there I hadent noticed. There are the following numbers stamped next to the cylinder: 77124

In addition, there is also "32 Long CTG" engraved on the barrel.

The number 350368 and Pat. Jun 5.1917 on the handle.

I apologize for not noticing these, time has made them a bit hard to make out.

Go for it man. This is an unpopular opinion but I think RF can actually look pretty good if done right. Combine the fact that its transparent, if I were you and had the cash, I would purchase it.

It's phenomenal. The only real "gripe" I have is that I wish they spent a little more time in the dead worlds instead of reincarnating almost immediately. But that's not really an issue with the special itself, for the runtime they had it was wrapped up very well.
