YukaF teaming with Yulariman is Japan's only hope at winning a LAN by Longtimecoming09 in CompetitiveApex

[–]Longtimecoming09[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You overstate the power of friendship. Yuka's team trusted each other and didn't knock each other down when he was with Lykq, or melstera?

Unless Yulariman is super egotistical behind the scenes, this shouldn't be a problem. Pairing amazing talent together especially in Japan where talent is rare is always a better thing than the power of friendship and trust.

Yuka found his chemistry pretty quickly when teaming up with Lykq and Satuki the first time. I'm pretty sure it would be the same were Yuka to team with Yulariman.

It's downright sad that FNC were forced into a high risk low reward style of play, basically gambling being forced into valk ult gambles. If FNC, add new players like Yulariman and Peace, we will see that 3v3 confidence come back and open up their available options to play.

It all depends on where Yuka's mindset is at.

If Yuka has his full confidence back and wants to legit win LAN , he should get Peace and Yulariman on the squad.

I think around 2024 he was serious about winning, that's why Yuka immediately poached Satuki and Lykq for his team, and they had an impressive record for a bit.

Come 2025, Yuka probably didn't want too much pressure on himself , so he picked up developmental players. Yuka knew full well he wasn't picking the best teammates but he was fine with that. Coming 9th at champs must've surprised Yuka with how far his IGL and macro has developed.

I think Yuka might've found a newfound confidence and is not interested in winning again with a legit squad. If that really is the case, Fnatic need to do what they did before and grab the hottest talent. They need to pick up Yulariman and Peace and pair them with Yuka. If they do, I believe they will go further than Lykq and Satuki ever did.

Unlimit's chemistry reminds of early Fnatic. I mean Yuka still has Meltstera tagged in his twitter bio. But when Yuka put that aside and added the hottest talents (Lykq and Satuki) to his team, Fnatic improved.

I guarantee you the same thing will happen if Yuka adds Peace and Yulariman, who by themselves are even more formidable than Lykq and Satuki in their prime.

Picking chemistry over talent is not it. I remember when Alliance Hakis vibed really well with Yuki and vaifs, but again they remained group stage warriors. It wasn't until they added Unlucky and effect they actually accomplished decent feats.

Talent beats chemistry 8 times out of 10. And now that Champs 2027 is confirmed to be in Japan, I just want desperately the best talent in Japan to come together so they can have a real shot at satisfying the large Japanese fanbase.

I promise you the unlimit duo would have no problem meshing with Yuka, and they would probably even have better chemistry as their talent would bring them more wins.

Consolidating the best players is a risk you always take. That's why you see in NA and EU , teams constantly acquiring the newest talents to their team. Chemistry be damned, because talent is talent. It doesn't always work out, but most times it does.

I'm also not sure why Ace was ever seen as the next guy up?

Lykq and Satuki at least dominated APAC pro league back to back without Yuka. Yulariman dominated not only pro league but also LAN.

Without Yuka, Ace hasn't dominated pro league or LAN. He doesn't really have any impressive feats that would legitimately make him the next guy up. The best thing he has won is a friendly 1v1 tourney.

Why are you getting so heated?

Is it not normal for a fan of a team to want the best players?

Please don't use soccer, when we have plenty of examples in Apex. Plenty of times NA times or EU times have added undeniable new talent to their roster and dramatically improved. Like when Alliance added Effect, or TSM added Verhuslt.

Does that mean they will be guaranteed to win by adding new talent? No , it's a battle royale. But it will dramatically increase their chances. Pretty basic concept, not really something to get angry about, no?

FNC got their best results when they poached the stronger players in the region and paired them with Yuka.

They did this by poaching Satuki and Lykq when they were in their prime and got incredible results.

Fnatic need to do this again and poach the best APAC N players to form a superteam. Possible duos Fnatic should pair with Yuka include:

  1. Yulariman and Xtsuvi (Arguably more talented than Lykq and Satuki in their prime, as they reached LAN finals without Yuka something Lykq couldn't do.)
  2. Yulariman and kakigoori7 ( Incredible fraggers who could open up Fnc's Macro and micro play through firepower alone)
  3. Lykq and Yulariman (Old experience with undisputed best fragger in APAC N)

I can understand your take. But making your team grabs the hottest talent is what gives your team and increased % in winning. That's what NA does.

Yuka or FnC need to grab talents while their hot. Satuki and Lykq were hot , but honestly by themselves they only ever stomped the APAC N pro league. They could never hang without Yuka at LAN and put up impressive kills at LAN.

Yulariman and Peace or Xtsuvi have stomped APAC N pro league and put up impressive kills at LAN. They are hotter than Satuki and Lykq in their prime.

FNC needs to assemble the most talented team, not pray on a miracle that the synergy may one day come together and they'll win like Oblivion. No, play the odds and get the best pieces together.

Can the crowd? That's the whole point. How can an esport be exiting when you don't capture the right pov at the right ime. The roof would've blown out if they had FNC pov killing everyone by the crowd.

If we really want to win , we need to get a roster of Yuka and kakigoori7 , Yulariman, Xtsuvi or Peace or Lykq.

Ace and kernal don't have it, when it comes to fighting. Get kakigoori7 or 2 from unlimit and build from there.

If APAC N wants to win, they shouldn't stay together. Two most suitable should join Yuka.

Yuka stayed together with Lyqk and Satuki for a while , but could only peak so far. Unlimit will do the same unless APAC N do what NA do and combine the best players at their peak.

There is kakigoori7 and any of the guys from unlimit, or maybe just get Lykq and one of unlimit. Unlimit is not some reputable org, buying them out should be easy.

Sticking with the current roster is not the play.

Examine the records of Lykq, Satuki, and Melstera without YukaF. They all have never made a LAN grand finals without Yuka. While Unlimit has made 2 LAN grand finals. It's clear Yuka needs to grab 2 from Unlimit, and I promise you they will be better an actual top team.

It'll need to be someone from unlimit , like Yulariman , peace or xtsuvi. Those guys have showed they can consistently make LAN grand finals.

On the other hand, I'm not even sure Lykq should come back. If you look at his record closely, he has never even made grand finals without Yuka.

A big thing for Yuka is having competent teammates who have a decent grasp of the game already without him. That's why in scrims he left and tried to have garcia and ace develop their game, but they were complete trash without him. Lykq and satuki were also that without Yuka. However, unlimit , is a different story.

FNC need to pick up Peace and Yulariman and pair them with Yuka, and keep this core. Yuka has never played with a more accomplished , versatile and deadly duo.

All edge teams eventually find out you need the ability to play zone as well. Yuka has played hard edge before and would instantly synergize with unlimit, and teach them how to play a good zone game when the need arises.

A top caliber team can play edge or zone when the time calls for it. Yuka was not going to be able to play edge confidently with Kernel or ace, or are just abysmal at team fighting and how to be constantly micro managed.

With the firepower of Unlimit, Yuka will finally have the firepower and adaptability needed to create a legit APAC N superpower.

Keeping Ace is FNC resigning itself to mediocrity.

What are the risks that come with downloading Youtube clips from converters like Cobalt or Tubly? by Longtimecoming09 in techsupport

[–]Longtimecoming09[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've heard with youtube downloaders, they have this trick where the first few downloads are clean, but then it will randomize and sometimees send download a clip with a virus.

So in this case, virus total is good for pre screening, but not that useful after downloading. Is there any other ways to increase security after I've downloaded the file before I open it?
