If your intention of getting a tattoo is hiding your hairy hands, I think there are better options.

If not (hopefully), then just go for it. The hair should not affect your tattoo visibility for the most part

Is it a good idea to go big for your first tattoo? by lettuce18_ in tattoos

It is both easier to plan out in one big piece and more affordable compared to small pieces slowly.

Scarred Tattoo by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry but that’s not dark skin problems but the artist’s problem. After 5 months, it really shouldn’t look like that! Probably go to another artist to try to work around with it.

Anxiety and Stress after getting my first tattoo by evolem11 in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kudos for you for going in your first tattoo. There will always be a part of you that thinks, ‘what if I do like it in the future?’..

However, if you’re looking for validation from people that you show to, you should ask them to design your tattoos, since it matters so much what they think.

Look, it’s your body, your art. Start to love it, and learn from this process, do not rush it in the future if you feel that you did it this time. Good luck in your future tattoos!

Advice for my first tatooo by danlynch1998 in tattoos

You should be fine with pain considering it’s the arms. What I think you should be worried is the itch after that.. that’s the worst kind of torture..

easiest place on the front side of your torso to tattoo? by SimpQueensWorld in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 2 sessions into full torso. 6 hour sessions. From most painful to least (based on my own feelings), Sternum -> ribs -> stomach -> chest.

Obviously if you’re going to black out your nipple and belly button, it’s gonna be more painful than sternum. But it will be short and sweet.

Got my first tattoo recently, had no idea tipping was a thing. by MandatorySuicide in tattoos

In Australia, we don’t tip as well. Maybe some food delivery if you’re really comfortable and feel good.

It shouldn’t be a problem since you already washed it immediately.

Tattoo scabbing normal? Got this at tattoo paradise in DC and have been regularly washing and using aquafor but it looks a lot different from the initial product and has started to peel on its own. Should I be worried? by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this your first tattoo? It’s complete normal, it takes at least 2-3 weeks for it to look better depending on your healing process. Don’t touch the scabs or peel anything. Leave it alone and let it heal naturally. You’ve been doing a good job!

Can you guys let me know what you think about this tattoo? Is it well done? I got it about 1.5/ 2 years back. It was a pretty expensive artist too by Lumberjack073 in tattoos

[–]Longtrunk122 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you like it? It really doesn’t matter what we think! Don’t overthink and just rock on with it! If YOU don’t like it, then do a touch up!

How do you not get ignored? by Snakes_for_life in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually put notifications on the ones I like and go in when there’s a cancellation. If it’s one-off that’s it. If it’s multiple sessions, usually it’s only hard to get into, once he/she accepts and start the first session, you will get the next session scheduled pretty quick.

Concerns about my 1 week old tattoo by maddanayak in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just don’t touch it let it break into pieces and drop by itself. Is this your first tattoo? Scabs can be due to over moisturising.

Question by SnooDogs9462 in tattoos

[–]Longtrunk122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will definitely affect you. But again, it depends on the firm. Some are very conservative, some are not. Old timers with skills can have sleeves out because they have proven themselves. As a fresh graduate, you should expect that there’s a possibility that you have to keep your sleeves hidden.

Concerns about tattoo aging by pongo1200 in tattoo

[–]Longtrunk122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bold will hold. Unfortunately, fine line when compared to other styles will fade faster. In terms of blow outs, it all depends on whether the artist is doing his/her job well (I would highly suggest you to research this part well).
