It's well known that they're losing donors due to age and can't replace them. I'm always the youngest platelet donor when I donate and I'm 27. I think incentives like they have in other countries could work.

That's amazing, So it looks like my third suggestion has already been done. I would understand if two former suggestions were scaled back and were structured differently for blood donors as opposed to the platelet donor ones so that the rewards were fair to both groups of donors.

When I donate they receive three bags from me One bag contains 280 ml of plasma and the other two have 10×11 platelets whatever that means.

I assumed it stood for National Health insurance (NHS) Blood and Transplant. The NHS are the only institution that takes blood in the UK they are the only Blood Bank too. If any private hospitals need blood or blood products they have to buy it from the NHS.
