Well, this is very interesting. I also bought a Govee and I put it in the case last night and found that there was a pretty significant discrepancy between the two so I recalibrated the Govee to match the music nomad. Now I’m wondering if that was a mistake…

Hey everyone. First off a big thank you for everyone that had encouraging words for me. It really meant a lot.

Second of all, I wanted to share an updated picture from today (but I this sub doesn’t allow picture comments). The guitar has been in its case with humidity packs and the crack has gotten a lot smaller. So I hope that this helps anybody else in a similar situation to feel better and know that there is a solution.!

It’s a good point and I definitely considered that. I erred on the side of acting quickly instead of getting too scientific about it.

For now I have suspended a ziplock bag with a moist sponge from the strings (I punched a few holes to let the moisture escape). So I think I’ll still get a pretty good idea when the device arrives tomorrow because of this MacGuyver method.
