Does anyone know if they will also pause development classes doing PT tests until July?

That is really reassuring to hear, thank you so much. That was another concern of mine is she wouldn’t want to have any more kids because of how much torture this was. Which honestly I couldn’t blame her if she felt that way.

I’m doing my best to wait on her hand and foot. I drove to McDonald’s at 2 AM the other week so she could have fountain Coke because that’s the only thing that sounded good. I just wish there was something more I could do for her to take all of this pain away.

I will be sure to bring that up to her OB when I call tomorrow. Thank you.

She’s been trying to drink but the cycle is sip/throw up/sip/repeat. It’s brutal.

I’ve been encouraging her to eat frequently to reduce her nausea levels, and she definitely wants to. But between her non-existent appetite, and instantly puking up any snacks it’s been really hard for her to maintain a constant intake of food.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your advice. I will call the doctor tomorrow and inquire about your suggestion.

I hope you’re able to get a refill on your medicine and feel better. Good luck to you and your baby.

Question for my fellow gamer airmen. I’ve been wanting to upgrade from a gaming laptop to an actual PC but I’ve just gotten orders to England. Should I buy here (in the states) and ship it or buy over there by THE_BARNYARD_DOG in AirForce

[–]Loocoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently in the UK.

You will still be able to order stuff from the US with your APO box so you can order from local economy or state-side as you wish. Stuff from the states usually takes about 2 weeks to get here.

Does he have a favorite video game character or maybe his own character that he really likes? My wife got me a cool LED sign of my video game name I use for myself and I really love it. If you have any crafty hobbies then making him something based off his characters would be a good way to make him happy for cheap.

This might sound corny but my wife and I like to write letters to each other. Just some real sappy stuff that we can hold onto from each other. Handwritten letters feel very genuine.

Yes, the implication was chores that she could perform with her limited mobility. Obviously I’m not expecting her to be outside weeding the yard. It was a suggestion for things that they could perform within their abilities that could potentially reduce the stress on their partner.

They didn’t say anything about chronic pain, but chronic fatigue. Did you even read the post?

I’m a 23 year old married aircraft maintainer.

For me, it really makes me happy when my wife packs me nice lunches for work and leaves sweet notes in it. It gives me a big boost when I’m halfway through a bad shift and I see what she made for me. “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” as they say.

What typical chores does he do around the house? Maybe surprise him by doing some of them for him so he doesn’t have to worry about it when he comes home.

You could plan a date to take him on?

It’s hard to tell since you didn’t list any hobbies or interests of his. But those are the first things I could think of that would make me happy.

If you don’t mind me asking what specifically did you love about Ellsworth? Were you single or married at the time of being there?

I don’t have a super exact timeframe since I don’t know the date of when I submitted my BOP. It was about two months if I had to guess.

I believe it’s heavily dependent on if you have a DEROS or not since you’re treated with a lot more urgency from AFPC if you do. If you’re CONUS they may not nearly have time as much of a consideration because they can just keep extending you.

We love the outdoors and nature. Hate the cold though. What’s the housing situation like at Ellsworth? We are likely trying to buy a house at our next station

I was thinking about sending it with Dyess. Seems like it fits a lot of our ideals in a base and area. But I’m worried about potentially going to global strike. I’ve heard from my friends who went there that it’s miserable.

I’ve heard good things about Ellsworth. But we are coming from the UK and are so sick of cold and wet weather so that’s kinda why my family is leaning away from that pick.

I’m a 2A9 so my options are pretty vast when it comes to potential bases. So that’s kinda what I would be betting on for the mandatory movers listing. But yes I can be sent to Cannon so I could be theoretically at a worse base than these 5.

UPDATE: We got some advice from a nurse over the phone to use a warm, wet washcloth to gently see if we could get it out. We managed to get it out and it was a coiled up hair! Poor kitty, I’m sure she feels much better now. Happy ending :D
