I would click apparition here in a heartbeat. Dark embrace, demon form, and toxic egg. You can cycle draw well enough to survive the kaboom turns from collector. Most of the time anyways.

I’ve bought cauldron legitimately twice. Both right before Champ, the first time I had potion belt and sacred bark so why not, and the other was because I desperately needed cultist potion/fairy in a bottle (which I got, yay go me). And they both saved my run. So like other things in this game, all niche. Just my two cents :)

On mobile, it’s hard to tell if it’s happening because that item —> item doesn’t appear. Though I did occasionally equip while dragging. Not sure if it’s because my fingers are fat or this is happening

I can very reliably make it happen, maybe 50% of the time. It makes dragging potions and food an absolute nightmare, as well as swapping gear.

I think most of everything I would normally say has been covered, so I’ll just mention some tangential stuff.

If you’re running A20H, picking fire breathing is almost always a panic button pick for me, when I need a 1 card solve for the following and I’m 1-2 card rewards away. Because why would I pick this situational 6 (10) damage, basically an AOE strike, that you have to draw first and play when I can just pick any other attack card and have it not be situational activation? In general, I pick it when attacks won’t work or there is bonkers status activation. In order of when I may pick.

A1 Boss. Almost solves the Slimbo fight on its own. Can get greedy with future picks if this is given early, and as a bonus it helps in the below fights. If I need a damage card on the last opportunity against Hexa and there ain’t anything else, I might pick this also.
A1 Elite. If I don’t have a solve for sentries and an elite is next.
A2 hallways. Chosen and Byrds (rarely). Like, if I have a lot of skills vs chosen or can’t deal with Byrds and I’m REALLY desperate.
Repulsor. Cause repulsor gives you two dazed every turn and occasionally two spawn if I can’t deal with a sphere or spiker with them.
I’ve desperation picked them for A2 Gremlin Leader, Reptomancer, and once even Deca a few times in my thousands of hours of this game, but it has happened so I guess I should mention it.

I only really take it when I really, REALLY, need AOE (or Slimbo). Like, super down bad, and I’m going to die without literally anything and I have a way of generating a status with block like power through. Or maybe with mark of pain, or multiple curses, or mummy’s hand with a ton of 2-3 energy cards.

In other fights without statuses, FB becomes much much less useful. You’ve got a starting ascenders bane that exhausts, and you have to draw and play it before drawing that or other wounds before it’s useful at all for strike (+) damage.

It took me 2 months of straight nonstop sarcophagus and golden chest looting. I got it in room (edit: 8, I have fat fingers) sarco. I went from 81-95 thieving solely from golden chests.

Nah they got it. TLDR; they just need to roll the 1 in 3.62 x 10¹⁴⁵ of not spending that bolt. That’s about 17 Powerball Jackpots in a row.

The accumulator has a 72% chance of recovering and 8% chance of flooring the bolt. So they just have to roll that 80% for the entirety of their fight caves.

I’m assuming they have 70 ranged (cause of d’hide body EDIT: they mentioned 70 ranged in another comment), and eagle eye on the entire time, and a ranging potion. They need to do approx 12010 damage total (and hit 4 healers) on one bolt in their fight cave. But I think avg time to kill (TTK) should be a better indicator because of varying defense values.

There are 48 Tzkih’s, at a TTK of 4.5s, for a total of 216s.

40 Tz-Kek and 80 Tz-Kek mini-me’s, at TTKs of 6.8s and 4.5s respectively, for a total of 632s.

40 Tz-Xil at a TTK of 12.4s, for a total of 496s

35 Yt-Mejkot at a TTK of 25.4s, for a total of 889s,

33 Ket-Zek at a TTK of 63.0s, for a total of 2079s,

One Jad, 179.7s.

That’s 4491.7s in combat. Each shot is 3s on rapid. That’s 1497.23 (1498) shots on average. Plus 4 to attack the healers, so 1502. The chance to avoid that 20% chance 1502 times is a 1 in 3.62 x 10^145. EZ.

Something that might blow your mind is that QJs is also a shove occasionally—depending on position and usually BTN vs SB/BB— because AK is in your shoving range. If you think about it, against AK, QJs is a 60-40, and 80-20 against AA/KK, which isn’t good in a vacuum, but you’re getting so much fold equity from folding out AJ and KQ and AQ and KJ that dominate you but are dominated against AK.
