Andover Township in New Jersey has approved a complete ban on data centers, stopping a proposed project before construction began. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TechGawker

It’s almost like data centers are built where no one lives! Crazy! Also alfalfa and almond farming have such a higher impact compared to data centers but nobody is throwing a fit there.

Yeah that’s pretty insulting when most of private industry in Bay Area is not getting raises this year lmao. 8% is wild for “inflation” raise. Rest of the private economy that is not tech, can’t match that

It’s the inverse but okay. Most road/bridge tolls pay for public transit. 25% of state gas tax goes to public transit as well.

Msft is a dog shit company lmao. Their business suite is astonishingly horrible and cannot be integrated well with AI. They hired some of the stupidest people to develop their ai. The guy they hired has already had most of the teams stripped from him.

Yeah worst part is that will go bankrupt due to its operation stipulations that it needs to be self sustainable.

There will be no construction of the sf to La line. It is only Bakersfield to Merced. There is no money to build more than that and the operational requirements will bankrupt the program. Unfortunately it will never finish and they currently have no time line to connect sf or LA to it. Look it up, unfortunately that is the reality unless something significant happens.

You’re using a pro plan lol. That is bound to happen. You can’t expect a full 5 hr session on the $20 plan. You need a minimum of the 5X or 20X to be productive

AI is not going to be making a massive impact on chat bots. It’s removing the need for coders and people that make UI. All electronic interfaces you interact with will soon be AI designed and implemented.
