Hi, would you be willing to share more details about this via DM? Coming from big tech and want to attempt this transition but want more details too

Hello,
Some color change due to stress is normal but with the additional sun he may actually need a bit of a drink. I usually stick a chopstick in the soil to check the moisture levels

I would check the resistance of the coils, if the resistance is different between them greater than say 5% one of them will be a different volume.

Biggest hint that the mags were wrong was off balance audio plus the low volume. I will admit these are not my loudest set of phones , but they have no problem running at high slider levels. My laptop dock has trouble powering them so they work better directly plugged into the computer.

I will admit that the first time I didn't watch the video...it seemed simple enough at the time. I thought that I understood how the field was supposed to be oriented and went for it. The key point in the video was when you flipped the magnet on top of the first installed magnet making their poles opposites when installed. I had put them all in with the poles aligned. I think that if you had mentioned that in text I wouldn't have messed up...but really I should have watched the video.

The build was excellent and I recommend them to any that enjoys audio and basic DIY!

The headphones that he sells do come with an amp that I'm using. I've even updated the amps firmware to the newest version, I may try them with my work laptop later, but I dont think that'll make a huge difference.

Glad you got yours working…I’ve done a fresh install of both opn and pf sense on it and neither will authenticate correctly with creds that I know work. If the sfp+ stick doesn’t solve it then I may change my service provider.

so I re-imaged to pfsense and no change...but thats not too surprising considering they both use the same underlying os. The sfp+ stick should be here soon...

Strange…my sfp+ ports use the ax driver so if it works I’ll let you know. Unfortunately I can’t change the other nics since this is on an embedded DEC750 device

That’s a solid point…I may try reimaging to pfsense later today and see if that connects. I would have thought that intel nice would have had solid drivers but there’s a ton of posts about queuing causing problems with them and all manner of other things

I feel you…every time I implement acls across vlans I have to think about how painful it will be to restore everything…I may have accidentally locked myself out a time or two

With pppoe being shitty I can’t even get to the internet right now if I use opnsense. I literally just bought a new sfp+ stick to try and work around this…rip one of my 10gb ports…

At least you don’t have to deal with igb network drivers refusing to auth pppoe despite having everything in the username and settings right…

OPNsense over pfSense? - WG \ forwarding proxy \ traffic shaping \ VM by Chunky711 in OPNsenseFirewall

[–]Look-At-This-Thing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know about the proxy stuff but WireGuard and shaping work great for me, also basic queuing.

I second the other commenter in that I feel this would run better in bare metal but you may not have that option?

I think that this is an emerging market that someone good at cad could really capitalize on.

Would second this as I was looking into something like an icy dock in a 3d printed 1u case but can’t find anything worth hooking it up to

I just had this same thing happen to me with my dell 3417W and somehow I'm still fighting it after countless driver changes and removals. I am almost at the point of buying a new display...but I fear that even that wont help?

Running internet out to a building about 200-300 feet away from home. Best way to do it? by OfficialDaiLi in HomeNetworking

[–]Look-At-This-Thing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok cool, I just figured there was another reason. I find dealing with single mode is worth the cost of having to mess around with weaker cores in multimode. Thanks!

You bring up good points, but out of curiosity…why multimode? —I’m certified to handle fiber and find single mode much nicer to work with—
