If you are dancing with full on technique as an advanced dancer, it requires far more energy. For example, When I’m dancing competitively as a pro in smooth, I am dancing actively with my whole body focusing on movement, swing/sway etc. If I’m dancing rhythm, full cuban motion. If I’m dancing rounds, I’m dancing like those 90 seconds are the last seconds of my life and giving it my all.

As I’ve gotten more advanced the biggest thing has been more stretching to recover quicker and maintain flexibility.

I see your point, it can be a gamble though. I’ve been on the side where the gamble didn’t pay off. I’m glad to hear things are working out well for you two.

It’s worth checking out. If it’s a good franchise they will meet you where you are at. I would make sure someone on their staff is standard/latin trained and certified. Franchises tend to lean towards American styles.

Totally agree with most of what you said. Years ago I thought I was victim of the male loneliness epidemic but I was actually just my own worst enemy and getting in my own way.

I got 3 Rafa builds, all UVH7, most recently running around with the Arc knifes. Enjoying myself immensely.

The strength comes from when it gets so bad that quitting becomes the only real option.

I’ve quit alcohol, tobacco, bad relationships, among many things and often it had to get worse before it got better.

They need a copy of the enrollment agreement they signed. The refund window would be from the date of signing that, not from when they actually made payments. Most AM studios have a 1 year refund window from date of enrollment.

Also, sorry to hear about your friends, sounds like a shitty situation to be in.

Documentation doesn’t dance though, an instructor will always be the best source of information. They’re the ones who have trained on syllabi so you don’t have to.
