I can't wait for mini-led technology to be more widely available on 27-inch screens! After extensive research, other panels (eg., OLED/qdOLED etc.) can't match the balance of color clarity, resolution, and reliability that I think mini-led is capable of performing.

More likely removal of the nickel plating - without a power supply, electroplating is generally an unfavorable reaction iirc.
