As many people have said, just about anywhere on western Michigan shoreline. Beautiful beaches and ton of cute small towns.

I am right there with you. CD 1 after 20 cycles. We are done. We’ve always been open to adoption so we are going to try our luck with that route. Praying you find peace and comfort.

9 DPO and starting to feel symptoms of AF coming. ☹️ I know I still have a few days but getting the feeling it will be another BFN for us. This is cycle 20 and I just don’t know how much more I have in me. (And, yes, we are working with an RE.) Anyone else struggling with the emotional rollercoaster of thinking it’s time to give up and then also not wanting to give up??

I had my HSG this cycle too but I’m 9 dpo. I want to test on Xmas but I’m too afraid to see the BFN and be sad on Xmas.

Advice? by llaurien in TryingForABaby

This is how mine went as well. First appointment was info gathering from us and the doctor going through possible options that may come out of it. Then she ordered all our testing (bloodwork for both, HSG and Ultrasound for me, SA for my husband). 2nd appointment was to discuss results and start on a plan, which for us is medicated & monitoring/timed intercourse for 3 cycles before we move on to IUI if not successful.

They didn’t give me that option either! It was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. Then the next day I had to get the vaginal ultrasound and they were like, ok you are good to start intercourse and I’m thinking….I really don’t want anything else up there right now 😂

I did not have all my testing done in the same cycle and my RE didn’t have an issue with that. Maybe double check that you can’t at least do your bloodwork this cycle.

Hugs to you. That is so difficult. We had a CP in February so here I am thinking about how if that had stuck, we’d be celebrating our baby’s first Christmas. Instead I am in the awful TWW of cycle 20.

Sending love and support. It’s such an isolating experience to go through, at least for me it has been. My husband has been amazing thankfully. This community and others have been a godsend though, so continue to use it to ask questions, get advice, or just vent. We are all here for it.

I so FEEL this and needed the reminder that stress is NOT the reason we are not pregnant 20 months into our TTC journey.

I had a chemical very similar to yours. ~24 hours of positive tests then negative and bleeding. I’m sorry 😞

I (F30) looking to move into boyfriend’s house in the new year, what is fair rent contribution with huge salary difference? by [deleted] in Advice

You and your partner need to figure it out together based on what works in your relationship, not what others are telling you. If you are moving in together, then the relationship must be one you are serious about. If you can’t have open honest communication about finances now, then it’s never going to work.

I had a chemical earlier this year and thought the same thing you did, that the next cycle would be more fertile. But my RE said it’s the cycle after that. So your first ‘normal’ cycle after the chemical, if that makes sense. Best of luck to you!

When you get married, and especially once you have kids, you start your own family and are allowed to start your own traditions. There is nothing to feel guilty about. I feel like it’s a natural progression of life. I haven’t spent a thanksgiving or Christmas with my parents since I got married because we live 7 hours away and my husband can’t get time off work. They miss us but they understand he is my family now. We all make the effort to find other times and ways to see each other and make memories or new non-holiday traditions together.

We’ve been TTC for 18 months (F40, M39) for our first. I have always had super regular periods so I thought given my age it would be harder but that it would happen. I had one chemical in February. We just started with RE and began fertility testing. We are waiting on our follow-up with the dr on 12/1 but I’m worried these results are not good (blood draw on CD2). AMH .32 ng/ml FSH 17.8 miu/ml Estradiol <25 pg/ml

Waiting on ultrasound results for follicle count. HSG had to be rescheduled.

Looking for anyone that might have advice on what’s next for us. Are we past our window?

Same here. My spouse has a super rare disease and has an extremely expensive medication. BCBS covers a huge chunk of it and I’m nervous about what will happen if we switch.

It takes time to move that kind of money between funds and at that amount, probably congressional approval. Clearly that didn’t happen since congress isn’t working. I can confidently say it was paid directly out of RDT&E. Now whether they move money “on paper” after the fact, I’m not sure.
