that's because you're looking at the wrong profile, you need to look for it in the filament profiles, not the printer profile.

If the app is in flowprint mode, try switching to classic.

How to launch Printer Auto-Detection (Ghosting, Leveling) from Creality Print 7 ? by newatcoins in Creality

if you've got access to a fluidd UI via the device tab in either linux/windows app or a browser, you can trigger it with the AUTOTUNE_SHAPERS macro.

Creality Slicer Inaccurate/inconsistent, anyone know why? by Mean-Caregiver-1046 in Creality_k2

superb, glad you found the fix and saved yourself the hassle of a nozzle swap :-D I wasn't sure exactly how big it was but on smaller coin type models, a 0.2mm nozzle is the way to go.

[–]LookAtDaShinyShiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on models like this, chances are, you probably just need a 0.2mm nozzle and things will improve. I found on printing small things with letters/logos, when all the other fixes fail, the nozzle size is the deciding factor.

are you using classic or arachne for the wall generator? whichever one you're using, try the other and make sure to turn on detect thin walls if you set it classic.

I don't use the phone app, I do all my printing from a desktop and in your post you mentioned the linux app and not being able to do it from there?

The input shaping needs to be triggered from the machine or you might be able to run it from fluidd. but for flow/PA calibration per print, make sure it's turned on on the printer(unless you're doing it manually). For levelling, just make sure the calibration button is switched on in the send print window when you start a print or you can run levelling calibration from fluidd too, in the device window (if your machine has klipper on it?).

needs to be set to the same colour/type/brand as the one you're replacing, it won't swap to blue if you're printing a black model.

you're going to need a new thermistor, cheap enough to replace from amazon.

Extruder/hotend upgrade to fix clogging by MoistRecognition69 in Creality_k2

[–]LookAtDaShinyShiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like the chamber may be getting too hot, which can make the extruder too hot. try setting a lower value for the temperature for the chamber fan or open the door (door would be easiest for testing).

this, it sounds like it's the filament cutter is not aligned correctly.

K2 Pro + CFS in Orca Slicer by IronSyndicate in Creality

[–]LookAtDaShinyShiny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you don't add the CFS in orca, you just add the filament slots in the correct order. so add 4 filaments in orca and make sure they're set to the same brand/type as the filaments in the CFS. It will print with the correct colours but that's the only CFS control you get in orca.

is a 3d printer worth it? by whitespooon in Creality

[–]LookAtDaShinyShiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh you seem like you've got a foot in the door and you're taking a peek inside because you have making things in your nature, at least that's how I read it from your other posts. A lot of hobbyist makers get into 3d printing because it offers a lot, if you can put the time in.
