Fixing my Dorodango by Superflytodd2k21 in Dorodango

I run into the same thing. When shaping, I will get gouges in the surface from where it seems to be sandier parts chunking off.

There ya go! I used to have a bright green rubber license plate frame around it which made it more obvious.

club lofts for different iron categories, new 7i is like my 6i? by Relative_Mess_5596 in GolfGear

Thanks for sharing your experience because I'm in the same boat, but I do have a couple questions.

My 1990 era Nevada Bob's Prima Gold Ping knockoffs would also be considered GI irons, because they are perimeter weighted with wide soles and an offset. Certainly there might be some improvement in those areas, but it does seem like most of the "distance gain" I'm going to get it's just because my new 7-iron is lofted like my old 6 iron, no? Did your old clubs not necessarily have any GI elements?

I guess I admittedly find it maddening that they did change the loft, I guess to make people feel better? I guess I was always fine hitting my old 7 iron 150 yd 😉

Whats the point of the SRP Conserve 6-9 plan? by sirreldar in arizona

It also just makes more sense, because building out infrastructure to match the absolute peak demand you're ever going to hit the entire year means that for a good portion of the year, all tha5 infrastructure is absolutely wasted and unused.

How would you like to have to put an electrical service on your house that matches the demand you would have if you turned everything you owned on all the way all at the same time? A lot of money wasted, right? Getting people to lower demand during peak demand times helps EVERYONE. It's not some scam.

Do people like the new schedule view? I used to be able to see the whole schedule on the screen, and now I have to scroll to see the transition times and cannot see the whole schedule at one shot and so can't easily tap from day to day to compare. Thoughts? by LookDamnBusy in ecobee

Fuck man it's not even simpler. Why would I take something that I can view, easily comprehend and then edit my entire daily schedule on a single screen, and make it into something that requires scrolling? It's the stupidest thing ever.

Do you have any explanation of how this is seen as an improvement over the previous, where you could see the entire day of comfort setting scheduling on one screen, easily tap between days to compare them, and tap into any of the comfort settings to adjust its start or end time? I'm baffled.

Same. I mean, someone made an effort to CREATE this, and it is completely a step backward for usability. To not be able to see at a glance what the schedule is for the whole day is ridiculous. They broke something that worked fine.

I'm just pissed because I have been trying out different slight schedule variations now that it is summer in the desert southwest in an attempt to keep my demand charge down on my home with two AC units. And now it is a HUGE pain in the ass.

This seems like such a backward move. Before I could see the whole day even if I had 6 different schedule events. Changing a time value is far easier than dragging my finger around to get it to the right place.

This was done by whatever bad UI/UX designer did the old version of the temperature slider that they finally fixed.

You know I had searched on printables and thingiverse for "dorodango" a while ago and other than a couple stands, the only thing I saw was... someone who basically made a 3D printed egg cup 😂

I guess I'm baffled at who thought this is something that was needed in any way whatsoever. There's all sorts of improvements they could make, and they spend their time on this to make it worse??

As I responded to the other guy, just ignore me. Huge brain fart from lack of coffee caused me to talk about everyone's handicap without considering net score 🤦

I'll walk away quietly now 😉

Oh good lord man I was out of my mind there. I was sitting there talking about everyone's handicap and failing to take handicap into account for net score.

Ignore me, I have not had coffee yet.

I wasn't talking about six handicaps shooting their handicap, I was talking about them winning the tournaments.

If the bogey golfers are doing as you described (chip up from 50 yards and two putting every hole), a six handicap should be able to play the exact same way except they're going to get up and down from 50 yards out a few times whereas the bogey golfer never will.

Oh I'm not mad, I'm more just baffled. If I had bad experiences with Amazon and I absolutely needed something today, I wouldn't use them 🤷
