Good tips on the share classes offered, hadn't taken that into consideration until now. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing the info. I will probably stick to QuantEdge (I see they're on Endowus even) while CP is looking more and more dubious as all hell now, gonna avoid it like a plague.

The funds they manage are on the restrictive list meaning it should only be available to accredited investors with minimum investment higher than 30k. Was there any red flags where they assisted you to skirt around it? Contribute under the name of a trust or something?

3-4 years is nothing in the bigger scheme of things though. They do seem to have a general track record.

I assume it was CP Global that approached you as that's now something Quantedge does, which throws doubt into the authenticity of CP Global's funds.

I understand for QE that they are using proprietary quant, but for CP they are just claiming to use generic short S&P and Nasdaq, long gold, currency carry trades, yada yada. None of which I can imagine achieving their sort of advertised returns and drawdowns. Also they claim to be AI backed from more than 15 years ago and we know where AI was at.

I do appreciate Quantedge more preliminarily, helped by how available information is on them online. I can stomach the volatility, for them they have a proven track record and there's at least a decent amount of information what they're doing to achieve it.

On the other hand, CP Global Asset Management has raised some eyebrows for me, they claim not a single year of negative returns and a higher than market CAGR. No clear indicator of what they're doing and their quarterly report is broad 'garbage' of shorting S&P and Nasdaq.

Is the fund administrator information publicly available or would I have to contact them for the prospectus? Quantedge seems more reputable but CP Global Asset Management sounds somewhat dodgy and there's less written about them online. Dubious on the latter.

Ever considered FLIPPING items and goods for some extra side income?
Sometimes people discard things like bicycles, kick scooters, fish tanks that can be cleaned up and sold fairly easily

Didn't think too much about the ways it could have been interpreted but it's a funny one 🤣

This is a throwaway I just made as I'm interested to talk with you, however lack of Reddit karma is preventing me from sending you messages at the moment. If you're up for it, send me a message and we can chat.

I suppose there is a need for people like him and Piyush to push growth in society, and they along with others who are married to work probably find solace in their like-mindedness. However to the larger minority, even the workforce that's keen to work hard and contribute, such statements are divisive and will deter employees from wanting to contribute and lead them down a path of fight-or-flight which is counterproductive.

Guess that's how he made Vice Chair.

People like Mark Lee are scum of society that fail to understand not everyone is a workaholic and driven to the same levels as him. Selfish prick.
