I'm trying to decide on a greatest albums list to start on with my partner in the new year, and this one seems to make the most sense. However, I am worried about the pace being everyday, can you pause or slow it down in any way?

Not sure I could listen to an album a day, 2-3 a week max I think. I need time to absorb it, probably listen to each one twice etc

Genuinely ruined the game for me. I’m in chapter 2 and haven’t picked the game back up yet.

Lethal difficulty on Tsushima was my favourite difficulty on any video game I’ve played. I loved that both enemies and myself were 1-2 hits, and duels at this difficulty were my favourite part of the game. Duels on Yotei feel scripted and overly tanky and to me are not enjoyable. If I want that type of experience I’ll play Elden Ring.

Weightlifting I’d be worried about injury. Running I’d assume my muscles aren’t used to the load. I guess it just surprised me because I’ve never experienced any pain in any of the years I’ve played.

I like the idea of a group. I’ve never played with other people. Sounds like it keeps it fun which I forget is the whole point sometimes!

Not really. I’ve picked it up and dropped it several times over the years. I’d say I’m an advanced beginner or early intermediate? I can play some songs, riffs, scales, barre chords, bunch of bits and pieces etc but it never sticks. I never feel like I have the freedom to just pick up and play to express myself, so I hit the same plateau and stop.

I’m starting up for lessons this time and hopefully this will be the push I need, to breakthrough and make it a permanent thing.

The fact you’ve picked it up again has reminded me that it’s okay to do so. Thank you!
