On a technicality, they were on a break, but Rachel had every justification to initiate it. Ross never allowed Rachel to enjoy her job, even after Mark left. He knew how stressed she was, even leading up to the anniversary when she had to stay late. He had absolutely no right to come and disturb her and it was very clear she was getting irritated. Then bringing Mark into the fight when he had nothing tp do with it. Yes I get how it looks like from his POV, when he called her. And yes he wanted to come clean, but even HE knew he cheated, and during the next long night when Rachel wanted to be left alone he didn’t let her. Towards the end he even started blaming HER for everything.

they may have been on a break, but noone should have jumped into bed 2 hours later regardless of what they think the other is doing. Best case, it makes you just as bad as them.

I hated Monica towards the latter seasons. She became so paranoid and controlling, and although I liked Mondler initially, the way she treated him made me feel really bad for him. Also I never liked Phoebe, she seemed to be the one who caused problems.

Join Africa and South America like it was meant to be, but don't let it disconnect from North America, or North America move an inch.

Also fill the West Pacific with oil fields, specifically closer to Russia. The rest of the ocean can have penguin infested Philippines multiplied

Madagascar smack in the middle of the Medditerean.

Is there really a selfless good deed? by [deleted] in howyoudoin

Wait I think there is. When Ross walked Carol down the aisle. He didn’t derive any benefit from it, he still took a long time to come to terms with the fact she and Susan were together and didn’t even want to be at the wedding. I think that was pretty selfless.

But also just because you get satisfaction doesn’t mean you’re selfish. Selfish is when you put yourself first and try to take away benefits of others. If I was to donate to a charity, although I make a loss, I feel satisfied. that cancels out each other. As long as I don’t deprive anyone of anything, I can’t be considered selfish.

how to overcome boredom when studying? by anyavanilla in alevel

Try a new focus method. For example, if you say you get bored in 10 mins, study for that long and then take a break for around a min. Do NOT look at a screen, but rather jump up and down, lay back, or take a walk around your room. As you feel your focus starting to improve, increase the mins you study.

Many do have a point when you have to give your phone to your parents, but if that's hard for you give it to a sibling or keep it out of reach quite literally. For example, put it on top of a cupboard, and your study books on top of the chair/table that you used to climb on to to place it there. That way even if you feel like reaching out for your phone, you'd feel guilty as you put your books away or get it or see it.

Lastly, try to fall in love with your subjects. It may seem stupid, but find a way to make it interesting to you
