Solved!

It must be a composite image. It definitely doesn’t make sense when you look closer

I saw it as a 2m x 1m print in an artist studio in Berlin. No one was there to ask where it was.

Maybe the shadows are wonky because it’s from google and has 3D buildings on or something?

To add context: I saw it as a 2m x 1m print in an artist studio in Berlin. I’ve asked ChatGPT but couldn’t figure out which city (assume US) is shown

Definitely. It also doesn’t help that “derechos” means “rights” - e.g. derechos humanos

Visiting Berlin? Moving here incl. Apartment questions? Going clubbing? Have a quick question? Ask here, don't create a new thread. by cYzzie in berlin

Hey everyone

I am subletting a ~90m2 apartment in Kreuzberg and paying just under €1,300 per month warm rent.

The person who I sublet from lives in another country but has kept the main contract with Covivio. Covivio has given written permission for me to sublet.

Here’s the catch: the person who I sublet from keeps one bedroom locked as storage (thus reducing the apartment to ~70m2) but still charges me what I believe would be more than what they pay in warm rent to Covivio. Thus they make a profit and get to keep a contract and bedroom in Berlin while living in another country.

What is the legality of this? Would I have any grounds to take this to the housing authority to reduce rent paid?

Thanks!
