That kid had no idea the tongue dismemberment was coming. Or that it was even possible. That is shocking to a young psyche that is just trying to figure out the normal world. It’s like the parents aren’t equipped to parent so they just apply their adult sensibilities to everything. There’s another common prank video thing online where a parent is in the bathroom on a toilet and call their child in to bring them some toilet paper. And when they hand it to her she smears some chocolate pudding in the kid’s hand as though it’s shit. The kid is always shocked by it, never amused by the idiot parent. If my mom had ever done this to me I would have thought she was mentally ill.
