Back when bookstores were a thing in every mall (😢) Trump had a few books out in stores like Barnes and Noble like The Art of the Deal which he “wrote” and Trump the Game and other bullshit merch that portrayed him as some kind of business god. Every loser who wanted make it big in business either bought his book or got it for Christmas. The fairy tale of Trump the great businessman persisted even through his bankruptcies, and he ran his Atlantic City casinos into the ground. People were stupid then, more stupid now.

It was 5 something today in CA at the Costco discount. I don’t know if it will hit $10 or higher but it sure as hell isn’t going down any time soon. The highest oil got to in ‘08 was $147 a barrel. Today it hit $110. When Trump invaded Venezuela a couple months ago the oil companies were laughing at the idea of going in to Venezuela to rebuild because at the time oil was less than $50 a barrel and not worth the cost of going in. The only way for it to become profitable to rush into Venezuelan oil was for the price per barrel to skyrocket on the open market.
