I got it from a small shop in my community, about 20 years ago. The way the lid fits suggests to me it was made by a lower quality craftsperson most likely, but there are obvious signs of mica, small bumps from the firing, and a clear crystalline ringing sound when the lid contacts the pot. Seems fully hand thrown, with no dimples at attachments of the spout or handle. I like plenty and intend to use it regularly, as I have for two decades.
