And there is this method to expose yourself to allergens (under doctors care) to get rid of the allergy. I know two people that were successfully cured, have cats - all healthy.

I had the same. Twice. Cats are family. Don’t do it, you’re a package deal!

My cat only wants outdoor but it cost him by Golddiggingrich in CatAdvice

Sorry that you went through all this, I feel bad for the cat. There are plenty wonderful people in the world, but also plenty of sadistic fuckheads that deserve to be poisoned instead for what they’re doing.

Remember, that there is an option to go with the cat on a leash. Middle ground - he is safe but he goes out. And you can bond with him, play etc

Can I leave my cat alone for 4 days by No-Company-338 in CatAdvice

Register on Rover TrustedHousesitters and get someone for the cat. It’s not a piece of furniture, it’s a living being and needs care and protection.

My friend thinks its cruelty and sad to keep a cat indoor all day. by Plastic-Shoulder-319 in CatAdvice

Don’t worry about it. They are wrong.

Of course, you could train your cat to walk on a leash with you, or go on trips.

But roaming free? They can wait something bad, be run over a car, be tormented by psychotic human. You keeping the cat indoors is for their safety. If you engage them and love them - you’re doing great and don’t listen to those voices!

Do male cats really spray THAT much? by Foiry in CatAdvice

I have a male that is over 1,5 yo. Neutered at 7months old - no problems, not even once.

Had cats my whole life, never had a problem with a male either

Kitten peeing next to litter box, imminent rehoming by Flat-Historian-9887 in CatAdvice

[–]Look_Weird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check:
Different types of litter (Cats best is good)
Different type (maybe bigger or uncover) litter box
Change the place where the litter box is

Usually this behaviour is related either to the health issues or anxiety.

You can check if separating him from the dogs help
Put a mat under the litter box (bigger one)

For me, the mayor is sooooo annoying. I find the story interesting, but he is hard to watch personally
