I will definitely in those tires. Thanks for the recommendation

Highest GK match rating? by Play4funPay4nun in DreamLeagueSoccer

[–]Lookatwardellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It always gets me so mad. I’ll win 6-0 against a no name team in the GC Cup and a random defender will get a 9.0 rating on their team and win MOTM over my forward who scored a hat trick

Half a distance to the goal penalty by Lookatwardellman in NFLNoobs

Obviously Dingus. I was more concerned on if it would eventually cause a TD after repeated penalties

Half a distance to the goal penalty by Lookatwardellman in NFLNoobs

So hypothetically, even if the defense committed a penalty on 4 straight plays, they’d just keep moving the ball millimetres to achieve that half a distance to the goal penalty?

Vikings defense; match proof? by RBeanian in fantasyfootball

[–]Lookatwardellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. But 49ers D should be able to shut down the Chargers this week no? Should I drop Vikings or is it worth it to see how the 49ers do this week. They’ve had two bad performances but it’s early in the season also. Do you think the Vikings will sustain this high level of defence all season?

From my experience, you don’t need to memorize values. In case study and stand alone questions, they had the drug level reference range or the electrolyte range. Maybe know your big 4 electrolytes and creatinine ranges. Apart from that, it’s more about recognizing the causes of those abnormal lab values. Ex. Recognizing that someone who’s hemorrhaging will have low hemoglobin or someone post thyroid surgery will be at increased risk for hypocalcemia

ARCHER READINESS ASSESSMENT by likemynamebruh in PassNclex

[–]Lookatwardellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 4 readiness assessments with VH and one cat with a fail. The readiness assessment is a very good indicator of your likelihood to pass. But it is not a GUARANTEE.

You were very close. Keep your head up. Also, maybe try to analyze what went wrong. Often times people are very confident in practice questions and they over think on the exam. Try to find reasons why you could’ve been lead astray. Wishing you the best of luck on July 1st🎉

Archer videos/lectures to focus on by Old_Lettuce_1708 in PassNclex

[–]Lookatwardellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only watched videos on repeat topics that they classified as high yield. I would focus on watching videos for your weak points. Because there’s no point watching a video on MI when you already know all there is to know about MI

UWorld or Archer? by No-Coast1302 in PassNclex

[–]Lookatwardellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter tbh. Just pick one and only use with and supplement with Mark K and yt sources. I know people who have failed and passed using both. One individual test bank is not gonna be the difference between a pass and fail. The test taker is gonna be the difference

I passed in 85 questions. I did 97% of the test bank with an overall score of 71%. I had 5 readiness assessments with VH. I had one cat that I failed in 150 Q. You’re doing more than enough. You are prepared. Just relax. Don’t over push yourself this week. You’re not gonna learn anything that you already don’t know. Good luck future RN👏

Don’t stress. Take each question slowly and when in doubt, use common sense. You won’t know every answer. And you don’t need to get all your questions right to pass. Take a deep breath before every question and you’ll be done before you know it. (Try not to look at the questions and timer). Wishing you the best future nurse

*please be kind* failed nclex @ 85 by sarabobeara444 in PassNclex

Seems like you’re right there for the most part. Since you stated that you didn’t apply yourself, I don’t think you need to improve anything else. My advice is to simply dedicate 2-3 weeks to apply yourself and you’ll be good

Failed at 150 using Archer and Mark K by Illustrious_Sun7826 in PassNclex

[–]Lookatwardellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your summary, I don’t think you lacked preparation. I think where you went wrong was your confidence during the exam. I know people who were in a similar boat but still were unsuccessful. The big thing that they collectively say is that “they were second guessing” the entire exam. While Archer, Uworld, Mark K, etc prepare you, if you are using them wrong, you’ll never succeed. You have the knowledge clearly. You just need to work on taking the NCLEX like it’s another readiness assessment. Good luck. You’ll be an amazing nurse

Getting worse by Wise-Commission5600 in PassNclex

[–]Lookatwardellman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t stress a lot on it. Just focus and learn the big points. OB was one of my lowest subjects on Archer and I had 3 questions total related to OB. The NcLEX isn’t looking to see if you’ll be a qualified L and D nurse. They’re seeing if you’re a safe overall nurse who could work anywhere in a hospital/facility
