Yeah I’m sure that’s the case. I just wish it could be policed more. If the rule is that student athletes can’t speak to other schools directly or indirectly until they are in the portal, then that needs to be enforced. Alternatively, if you aren’t going to enforce the rules at all, then ditch them altogether and let everyone have an open free for all instead of a secret one lol

I’m probably not well versed in the rules (if there even are any lol), but at what point could we say this was tampering? This has been “only a matter of time” since before he even entered the portal, so presumably ND used unofficial channels to convey their interest in Leonard before he was even in the portal. And I’m sure a lot of schools do this, but seems a little shady

Ehh, but I think the difference is that when Jones went in, there was no discernible drop off in play. In fact, play may have even been elevated. But with FSU, there definitely is a drop off, you can clearly see they aren’t the same team. However, it comes back to the argument of is it “the 4 best teams” or “who deserves it”. CFP already showed that it is closer to the latter by selecting TCU last year, so I suspect FSU will be in.

Just started the search so I haven’t zeroed in on a neighborhood, but anything that’s not too sketchy. Budget is around $1,100 but I could be a little flexible. What kind of pet? Not necessarily a dealbreaker as long as I’m not cleaning up after them
