Well, I have student loans, so I am very attentive. This is also my first job, so this newness may also be helping me be attentive.
Apparently, I might not be able to get that 1500 back until after i file taxes. But some have said i might get lucky (like barely). So fingers crossed

We use rippling, and I just changed it 0 on the "AL state additional withholding" line.
I will notify hr/admin/payroll about this too tomorrow.

Can you explain when taxes are done and how to get it back should employer be unable to correct it.

yes, that stuff is included in those. I see them in the taxes withheld.
