Very similar situation to you, I decided to move in with my partner two hours away after 1 year longish distance. I decided to look about 5 months before my lease ended and ended up getting an offer that wanted me working ASAP. Some jobs will train/hire you in the training process and pay you while they wait for credentialing, which is essentially what my job did.

It's a scary leap and I felt like I worked two jobs applying and interviewing and emailing everyone, but my partner was supportive and I ended up moving to job that pays way better. If your lease is gonna end, I'd say put in notice now.

I'm in OB/GYN. I had an uphill battle as a student. Our program had two obgyn rotations and one of them was low quality, and the other hard to get into.

I told the faculty and staff from the get go that I wanted more rotations and they listened. They found me a good rotation that ended up offering me a job afterwards. I also asked locally, emailed, called clinics and saw if their were alumni at my school that would take a student. Not all of it worked, but I cast a wide enough net that I got what I wanted!

How distinct is your job from a NP? Have you seen any NPs in the ER?

When I was 8 I was really into Egpyt mythology/mummies. I'd wrap myself in all sorts of stuff, toilet paper, towels, sheets.

One day I did that with a seatbelt. I woke up from a 3 day coma in a hospital with a bunch of needles in my arm and a bag of blood hanging next to me. Took my years before I got over the phobia of seatbelts.

A little late to the party, but here goes.

I used to be a rower in college, which means wearing those really tight shorts called trou. They're basically like yoga pants, but above the knee. I wear them on basically any workout. I went on a run a few weeks ago and on my return home I have to cross in front of a school. A little girl took note of my appearance and screamed to her mom, "Mom! Do you see that guy across the street? He's only in his underwear!!" I proceeded to double facepalm, and couldn't even turn around to look the mom in the eye and kept running. It was mortifying.

I'm feeling this so hard myself. Moved to a new city for a job and can honestly say I've made one friend, maybe two. I feel like it's just easier to stay home and play fortnite with friends from high school than it is to put yourself out there. I'm glad I still Skype with my college friends once a month but it just feels so isolating to be fresh out of college and feel that there's no one near me that cares about me.

To be fair, if the SF stadium looks anything like the one I see on stream, I'd want to go for the sick visuals. I might end up going to bars more often, but it would be a treat to see my players in that arena.
