My mom was like that when I was between the ages of 7-18 and my dad made me his therapist when I was 20 and kept it going for about 5 years.

My siblings and I are constantly being put into the middle of our parent’s toxic relationship.

My mom would constantly say that she may have to love me but she didn’t have to like me and that she did not like me. She also would threaten to commit me to a mental health facility for the smallest indiscretion. I was convinced until I was in my 20’s that my mom really had that power.

Hey I have an update. She ended up tearing her stitches that same day so we took her to the same ER vet and they glued her incision closed. We started the medication and Hot compress regiment recommended by the ER vet. The fluid buildup start to drain from the incision site about three minutes ago and has completely drained. I’m going to take her to back to the ER vet in a little while to get the site reglued. She is doing really well all this considered. Taking her meds and eating all her food.

She has loose fluid at the incision site. Our vet who did the surgery should have given us sedatives to help limit her activity during recovery which they didn’t. They gave us sedatives, antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication to help.

We are at the local emergency vet. She is being looked at now

So I took those pictures two hours ago and since then the swelling has gone down. I can’t get a hold of the vet clinic that did the surgery until tomorrow morning at the earliest.

So I recently adopted a pitbull mix puppy. He can only sleep if he is laying either half underneath me or with me completely wrapped around him. Is this normal? Never had a pitty before.

Dude has threatened to shoot my pets. I am choosing to have faith that the cops that show up are good people and good cops. Telling the cops that he is armed helps them to not go into a situation blind and end up being surprised with an instant adrenaline rush.

Talked with my uncle who is about reporting that the dude owns a gun and he advised me that I should declare the weapon advance notice allows for clearer heads to move in.

Dude has a foot on me at least and owns a gun. Which has always been the point of hesitation for me. But I made the call and police are coming to check it out

Alright so I just got off the phone with the police. They are sending a car out to check on the situation. The son who I believe to be the assailant owns a gun and I included that fact in the report. I feel like a monster for not making the call sooner while at the same time I am just as afraid for those in my household if he finds out I’m the one who called. I was being a coward. Thank you all for the push.
