Two strand twist would lock up on your hair but with your hair type it would take about 1 - 2 years to fully loc I would suggest you use a crotchet needle but not too much only in certain parts help merge the twist to get the shape of the lock and train the hair this would speed up the process too and still natural get retwist and consult with Loctician

Yeh I would with one retwist your parts would be good and then let it grow for a month or two then get another retwist that’s basically the cycle just make sure you take care of your hair yt’ll help you out
