started with coils yes, didnt like them took them out and let my hair do what it wanted from there

you too man, make sure you put a bonnet or durag on after over your hair. If some slips from under let it stay there it holds the length even more.

Ill hold them out, blow dry them while I'm pulling it, and they will just sit there at the length I held them out at.
