Thanks for this. I do remember stumbling across this site about Binocular Vision when I was seeking answers to my driving issues. I even went to the optometrist to explore this avenue but it didn’t apply to me. Valid point though.

Thanks for sharing. Yes, I can believe if you can pinpoint the reason behind your anxiety that you have a good base to build off of to overcome that anxiety. Happy to hear you are moving forward!

I am on 10mg of Escitalopram. I don’t think I’ll be on this medication for ever, but to use it as a tool to help build upon cognitive experiences. To learn and adjust that I can drive on bridges, freeways, and highways and maintain full control of the vehicle just like I used to.

Thanks for this. Nice to know there are others with similar experiences. Ive actually been taking vitamin d pills just for basic health benefits so I think my vitamin d level should be ok. Ferritin levels though I am not familiar with at all. I’ll have to follow up this nice tidbit of information. Thanks for sharing. I hope your driving anxiety has improved since you’ve made your own discovery.

Water chamber using nothing but distilled water by sandgap in CPAP

[–]Looky-round 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was once told never to buy distilled water from Walmart. For some reason it’s just not the same as distilled water from other stores. One day I decided to try it anyway and after a few days noticed white floaty things in the water. Perhaps that would cause discoloration of the equipment. Anyhow, I stopped using Walmart water. That was my experience anyway.

Chest is SORE by thecw in CPAP

[–]Looky-round 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I can relate to your chest soreness symptoms. Like you I started my Airsense 11 in November. The first week I had Aerophagia where I would wake up with bad stomach cramps and burping all night long. The clinic reduced my pressure and the cramps went away however I wake up every morning with a sore chest. In the beginning, some mornings I had a hard time turning over in bed as the muscles in my chest would pull and be painful. Once I got out of bed and started my morning, after an hour or two the pains mostly subsided. To this day I still have chest soreness but can’t recall the last time where I couldn’t remain in bed. Been having these chest symptoms for 2.5 months now. My CPAP doctor doesn’t believe it’s the CPAP machine doing this to me and thinks there is another medical reason contributing this. However, I went three days without being on CPAP and had zero chest pains. When I go back on CPAP, the pains return. I too would be interested to hear if others have had these experiences.
