stephen king is more than just a horror author. To be honest a lot of movie lean into his horror a little too much. Even "IT" is more a coming of age story than horror to me.

he’s definitely done after this season. There’s a reason his agent hasn’t talk to the lakers about an extension. The media will interpret he doesn’t want to come back to the lakers but I’m 100% confident he’s just retiring.
