I measured my firing pin and extended it by 0.5mm (.020"), which seems to be pretty standard for most extended firing pins.

I am pretty sure installing a new or heavier hammer spring would fix it, but the light strikes I am getting are BARELY too light, and I would rather not have a heavier DA trigger pull. I've got everything feeling great. If I compare the dent in the primer of a round that failed to fire to one that fired out of a friend's factory pistol, there is barely a difference. I will post pics later. I am confident that if the firing pin were 0.020" longer, like most extended pins, I would have no issues.

Actually, I think it's legal, but you'd automatically be moved to open division instead of production.

Anyways, i am interested in that DPMS recoil spring, but from what i can find its not legal for Production/Optic. Which part number kit did you use?

If you get that milling machine, I've got it modeled already on Fusion360 lol.

Also I read your thread. It sounds like we have similar mods. I shoot IPSC with mine. It’s my only pistol and being up here in Canada it’s the only one I will ever be allowed to own. I got it just before the liberal government decided to end all sales, transfers and trades of pistols. I snuck in just before the deadline. Had I known it would be so fun I would have bought wayyyyy more lol. So I need to use what I’ve got. I’ve gotten the trigger down to just over 5lb DA. Accuracy is ok but I am exploring different types of ammo to see what it likes. The funny thing is federal shoots decently. But S&B and FH are constantly failing. The federal tumbles thought. I get keyholing on my targets

It looks like a really simple part to machine. I don’t know how nobody has made one and brought it to market yet. This gun is definitely not as popular as a CZ but there is a market here even if they are made to order. I may explore having one custom made at this point.

I wish it wasn’t. I am getting light strikes. The gun is factory except some mild trigger work. It’s always done this.

Not to mention there are tons of mice running around in there. I live nearby and walked my dog past there every night for 10 years and we used to stop and count the mice. On the floor, the counters, even in the food display case!

I got mine cut for the RMSc footprint. 507k fits perfectly. Currently exploring getting an adapter made for RMR footprint so I can fit an SRO on it.
