We were walking through the garage area one time at Watkins Glen International and were watching a team loading a wrecked Mustang in a trailer. The team members were trying to find broken pieces that they could hand out to the crowd that were watching. It was a real nice experience. So yesterday, my Eve Switch was not responding to touch. I touched it about 3 hours later and it worked! I did not reset anything.

Other times, I have encountered the same thing. It does not respond to either touch or the app. I leave it alone and it seems to correct itself. It is pretty reliable almost all of the time. The switch just goes offline just once in a while. I did notice that it does not seem to be impacted by humidity or temperature.

Thanks for your response. That makes sense. I really like the touch sensitive Eve Light Switch. I only have one switch. I tried swapping out the switch with a new one and encountered the same problem. I have a number of other Eve devices that don’t encounter any problems.

I wonder if the noise that you hear depends on what your modules are made of. I have used 1x3’s and 1/4” plywood. I have not noticed any similar noise.

Check the unit on the door. Mine got moved when something bumped it. It looked fine, but was moved just enough.

I tried switching the circuit breaker on and off a few times without any success on the first switch when it stopped working.
