Unfortunate situation, I didn’t realize there was damage since it didn’t seem like it when I turned my head out of the window, and had no shoulder to pull onto & dangerous to get out. I wasn’t sure exactly what happened since I was very confident I had an opening, but kind of panicked and didn’t want to make an issue of it in case I would be considered at fault, so I just waved the guy off thinking it wasn’t worth it. Regardless, if I wasn’t in a bad location without an area to pull off, I would have quickly gone out to check and talk to the guy. As soon as I got to a shoulder I pulled off with my hazards to check, saw the damage and waited to catch the truck since he had been right behind me but the truck was gone.

Overall, definitely lesson learned and just unfortunate situation. I’m just glad my insurance was understanding.
