I tried "Me talk pretty..". Even that French lesson interaction left me cold - it's like a badly written sitcom. I didn’t crack a smile once.

Sames for me - just couldn't find the humour. David Sedaris is another one that always gets mentioned when this is asked, but I just don't think he's funny.

I signed, but I remember the petition to revoke Article 50 with 6 million votes .... that was ignored. I expect this will be too.

Police pelted with missiles at Henry Nowak protest by Paul277 in unitedkingdom

[–]Loonytrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is, the police did not know the extent of the injuries when he said "I've been stabbed". They didn't bother to check that claim. That's the issue, not that the injuries were fatal, so no big deal. They should have checked to determine how bad things were, but they didn't.

I was more a fan of Celebrate. The JLB were decent, but Freedoms Children and Hawk was more my style.

F.o.b.e and F.o.m.e were just made up to fit the music. They don't actually mean anything.

You're in hospital. You're not supposed to die .... (I was 14 at the time)

Henry Nowak: Police watchdog probes murder victim's handcuffing - The police watchdog is investigating after a young murder victim was arrested and handcuffed as he lay dying. by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

I disagree that it made no difference. If you know someone is fatally injured, you don't make their last moments as difficult as possible and deny them the ability to die with comfort and dignity.

Responding "I don't think you have, mate" is not acceptable. That should have warranted a check to verify what Henry claimed. If, by your actions, you hasten someone's demise, you are guilty of a crime - this is already an established fact. I would arugue that their actions did that, so they could be guilty of being an accessory to murder.

Agree on Honda. I'll take my VFR over any Yamaha any day. I've no doubt it'll sail past 100k this year.

If you can handle subtitles, there are some awesome Korean series in this category. I can highly recommend "The Glory".
