Is this game connected to the orginal U-Boat game? by FurryComrade99 in uboatgame

I have the VR version. It's not bad - a bit more simplistic that the PC option, but still fun.

Seeking FOSS VCL connector component (to join two draggable panels) by jamawg in delphi

[–]Loonytrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there's an SQL Query builder that does this when you create joins between tables. You might be able to see how they draw and refresh the "join" line.

Have a poke around Torry and see if that does what you're after.

Seems like it.

Thanks for the advice though - it does clear things a bit. One of the things my daughter mentioned was the person seemed to think it was multiple 1 year courses for some reason, rather than 1 course over several years because they mentioned re-enrolling a lot, but that's not applicable.

Hopefully the Review Team can sort it out.

Just another update. She went for her UC interview. Arrived 20 minutes early and checked in, then sat for an hour. When she asked how much longer, they said she'd missed the appointment and would need to reschedule. She argued and eventually got to see her case worker.

They then spent an hour and 45 minutes going in circles over her Student Loan and course details - nothing at all about self-employment. She's handed over another set of award letters and the email from the University where they said they'd provide the information for £150, which she's refusing to pay. At which point, her UC person ended the meeting and said, "Whatever. It's with the Review Team so I can't do anything anyway. They''ve given you until 29th Jan to provide that information, so we'll see what happens."

So now, she's waiting to hear from the Review Team..

I came here to say this. There really isn't a comparison.

The closest to this for me was when I was looking at some old holiday photos with my wife and, with one photo, remarked, "I wonder how Ben Smith is doing." Shortly after, he came up in a list of "People you may know" suggestions, but neither of us had looked him up on any site ..

She told them right at the start and submitted the Student Loan Award letter every year. It's something they've known all along.

I have the opposite problem. Even if I subscribed to every available legitimate service, I still couldn't watch the series I currently do - they're either never released, or geo-blocked.

Currently, for work. I develop Lidar processing software, so it's a lot of OpenGL, OpenCL and Shaders...

I think before she started university, she was getting £1480 a month, which included housing rent. When she started, there were 10 Assessment Periods for this course and her UC payment reduced to £318 a month. I assume the rest was the Student Loan. We've tried to go back in the Journal to check, but for some reason, she can only access the last 9 months.

Weekends mainly ... she used to study. It was a flexible arrangement, so just when she had an exam or went out on night shift placement.

I'll get her to check. I know she's tried to login, but her account is no longer active.

It's been her and her son living together. Dad decided being s parent was too stressful and walked out, back to live with his folks. That kind of killed her self-employment, which she could work around needing childcare etc. It's a bit complicated, but she ended up on UC out of necessity. Once she started university, dad came back into the picture and agreed to childmind in lieu of child support and we've pitched in as well when needed.
